CAMBODIA/VIETNAM: MGT 3542: Entrepreneurship in Vietnam and Cambodia

Description

Program Description: This two week program in Cambodia and Vietnam Highlights the importance of social entrepreneurship while  also considering the often overlooked examples of local innovation and ingenuity. Students will work with Wine to Water on a project in Cambodia. In Vietnam, students will stay in the charming town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, representing a fusion of culture and an international commercial port near beautiful beaches. Students will also visit Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon, a large modern commercial city, considered the most important economic center in Vietnam. There, students will experience a rapidly growing economy and the social and environmental problems underlying it.

Credits: Fulfills 3 sh of MGT-GEN or MGT-ENT electives/IB electives/COB/UL electives. Fulfills Experiential Elective for Advanced Entrepreneurship minor. Fulfills the Global Issues Requirement.

Program Cost: $3,800. Summer tuition not included.
